About Our Trains Our heritage trains use restored passenger cars from the early 1900s, and when possible are hauled by one of our century-old veteran steam locomotives. These local trains usually operate from Canberra to Bungendore. Our overnight or weekend tour trains include air-conditioned sleeping and dining cars, and are hauled by veteran diesel locomotives.
