The ARHS (ACT) operates a CountryLink ticketing agency and can provide tickets for any CountryLink train or coach service in NSW, or the inter-state services to Melbourne or Brisbane. Bookings can also be made to Queensland destinations serviced by QR Traveltrains. Your journey can start and end anywhere on the network including CityRail stations.
Our office is at the Queanbeyan Railway Station Henderson Road, Queanbeyan. Payment can be made by cash, EFTPOS or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
Bookings can be made in person, by email or phone. Just tell us your travel needs and method of payment and we will make your travel arrangements.
Full-time student, Pension or Government Seniors cards must be sighted or registered before a discounted ticket will be issued. We can arrange registration for you.

Children under 4 years are carried free but must be included in the booking.
Children aged between 4 years and 16 years normally pay half the peak adult fare. If they are travelling in a family group with adults paying full fare then they only pay $1.00.Full-time students holding cards with a CityRail numbered sticker attached pay half fare.
NSW or ACT pension card holders are entitled to four single journeys within NSW per calendar year. Economy class travel is free, however, for First Class travel a booking fee of either $10 or 15% of the fare, whichever is greater, is charged for each journey. These journeys can be extended interstate by payment of a concession fare to cover the journey outside the State. At other times travel is at half the peak adult fare.Holders of Australian State Government issued Seniors Cards can travel at half the peak adult fare.
A Country Pensioner Excursion fare of $2.50 is available to NSW or ACT pension card holders or holders of Australian State Government issued Seniors Cards for travel within ACT & NSW provided the journey does not enter or pass through the Greater Sydney Area. The boundaries of this area are Moss Vale, Nowra, Lithgow and Maitland. This fare is only available if the booking is made within seven days of travel
